I too take Clonazepam, if you are fine with the 1 mg and getting sleep, I do not see the need to try and stop the benzo plus 1 mg a day is a very low dose that is doing more good than harm for you plus the IBS-D. Answer (1 of 4): Yes, but beware of it and all benzodiazepines. I was on Klonopin for a total of fourteen months. When two milligrams stopped giving me sound sleep, I went up to three. So, for the next few months, I took two milligrams of Klonopin nightly. It had worked so well, in fact, that I realized I didn't need all four milligrams.
